To be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Law or the Master of Science in Homeland Security and Crisis Management Law, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Applicants to either of the Master of Science programs should complete the application by August 3, 2018 for Fall 2018 enrollment. Later applications may be considered on a space-available basis. The Fall 2018 semester starts August 27, 2018.
Applicants to the Master of Science programs are evaluated through a thorough assessment of the prior academic record, professional experiences, accomplishments, and interest in our program.

Your statement of interest should be between 500 and 1000 words and should primarily address your area of interest and your reasons for applying to either program. You may also wish to include information about your personal and/or professional background.
We require a résumé or curriculum vitae detailing all educational institutions attended and degrees and non-degree certifications received, with dates, and all employment, with dates. It is also helpful to include skills, honors, awards, accomplishments, and interests.
We require one letter of recommendation, preferably from an individual who can speak to your professional accomplishments and interests, such as a current or former supervisor in an employment context. We will consider up to three letters, should you wish to arrange for additional letters to be sent. We are primarily interested in learning about your work ethic, motivation, professional skills and accomplishments, and interest in further education. All letters of recommendation must be accompanied by a Letter of Recommendation Form, which indicates whether or not you are waiving future access to the letter. Please complete the form, and provide a signed copy to your recommender to submit with your letter of recommendation. Because facility with written and spoken English is necessary in order to successfully participate in our program, applicants for whom English is a second language or not their primary language must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). English Proficiency is demonstrated by an official TOEFL score of at least 600 paper-based or 90 internet-based, an official IELTS score of at least 7, previous attendance at a U.S. institution, or proof that English is the applicant’s native language. Please arrange for scores to be sent directly to the law school. Note: TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years.
A limited number of merit-based scholarships covering a portion of tuition are available to help defray the cost of tuition. Applicants to the online programs are eligible to apply for a scholarship, unless receiving full tuition support from an employer or other entity. Applicants for an MSL Scholarship must disclose all non-loan financial support which they anticipate receiving to help defray the cost of attending the MSL program. MSL applicants interested in applying for an MSL Scholarship should submit the MSL Scholarship Application form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
